Job summary

Tree of Knowledge Learning Academy is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team and support children's development in school and clinic settings.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, deliver therapy to individuals or small groups, document progress, and collaborate with families and professionals to promote functional independence and participation in daily activities.

Prioritize evidence-based practice and family education.

Qualifications

• Proficient in pediatric assessment and therapy planning.
• Strong ability to document assessments, plans, and progress.
• Excellent communication with children, families, and school staff.

Responsibilities

• Assess children to identify strengths and weaknesses in motor, sensory, and daily living skills.
• Develop individualized therapy plans and activities to promote skill development and independence.
• Deliver one-on-one or small-group therapy sessions and implement evidence-based interventions.
• Maintain accurate records of assessments, plans, and progress reports.
• Collaborate with families and other professionals to coordinate care and share strategies for home practice.
• Advocate for children's needs and rights and monitor progress to adjust plans as needed.
• Monitor progress throughout therapy and adjust treatment plans to meet goals.
