Job summary

Valley Children’s Healthcare is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess and treat pediatric patients with motor, sensory, or cognitive impairments. You will develop and implement treatment plans to improve functional independence and daily living skills, coordinating with inpatient and outpatient teams.

The role requires a 4-year OT degree, a Masters in OT, and CA licensure/eligibility (NBCOT). BLS within 30 days is required, with pediatric experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 4-year OT degree required.
• Masters in Occupational Therapy required.
• Doctorate in OT preferred.
• OTR NBCOT certification required or eligible for limited permit in CA.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer into position.
• Minimum 18 months pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat pediatric patients with motor, sensory, or cognitive impairments.
• Plan and implement therapy to improve functional independence.
• Collaborate with care team across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Document progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
