Family of Kidz in Putnam County, NY is seeking an Occupational Therapist. COTA’s welcome to apply.

The role offers part-time or full-time potential with compensation of $84-$85 per hour, with flexible arrangements based on caseload. Responsibilities include designing and implementing therapeutic interventions for children, administering OT evaluations, coordinating with lead supervisors, maintaining attendance and billing logs, and participating in CPSE/CSE meetings.

Qualifications

• Must have graduate degree in Occupational Therapy and NY State OT license.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to collaborate with families, school teams and other professionals.
• Self-starter with independent problem-solving and time management.
• Commitment to continuous personal and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for children on caseload.
• Administer and document OT evaluations.
• Maintain communication with lead supervisors and coordinators regarding case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate attendance and billing logs.
• Create and manage schedules with families and school personnel.
• Collect data on IFSP/IEP goals and report progress quarterly.
• Attend CPSE/CSE meetings and participate in annual reviews.

In addition the position posted may be either full-time or fee-for-service (FFS), depending on the current caseload which will be discussed during the interview.
