THERAPY 2000 is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our Cypress, TX home-based team. You will perform evaluations, develop treatment plans, and create home exercise programs in partnership with families.

You’ll collaborate with a broad care team to ensure high-quality, coordinated care for each child in their own home environment. Ideal candidates hold a TX OT license, have 3+ years in pediatric OT, and experience in home health or related clinical specialties such as feeding

Qualifications

• Active Texas OT license
• 3+ years as a pediatric OT
• Home-health experience
• Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties

Responsabilités

• Perform comprehensive Occupational Therapy evaluations using standardized tests
• Develop and implement treatment plans per physicians’ orders

• Meet agency expectations and standards for patient care

Qualifications

What you’ll need:

• A current/active license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Texas.
• An innovative spirit complemented by a demonstrated history of reliability.
• Flexibility to shift resources and priorities as necessary, based on the needs of the business.
• 3+ years as a pediatric Occupational Therapist
• Experience in a home-health setting.
• Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties (high-risk infant, etc.)

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

• Perform comprehensive Occupational Therapy evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy.
• Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physicians’ orders.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
• Act as a vital member of your patients’ medical neighborhoods, collaborating and coordinating care between various providers and disciplines.
  Complete a minimum number of patient visits on a weekly basis as required by the agency.
• Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and all other paperwork as needed.
• Meet with agency personnel as necessary to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.
• Perform all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all rules, regulations, codes of ethics, guidelines and federal, state and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric occupational therapy.
