THERAPY 2000 is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to provide home-based therapy in North Channelview/Highlands, TX. The role focuses on evaluating children, developing individualized treatment plans, and coaching families to support therapy goals in the home environment.

You will collaborate with physicians and other providers, conduct meaningful home-based therapy, and ensure thorough documentation. A Texas OT license and pediatric experience are required.

Qualificações

• Texas OT license active.
• 3+ years in pediatric occupational therapy.
• Experience in home-health setting.
• Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive Occupational Therapy evaluations using standardized tests.
• Develop and implement treatment plans per physician orders.
• Create home exercise programs with caregivers.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate care between disciplines.
• Meet weekly patient visit targets and maintain timely chart updates.
• Ensure compliance with agency policies and paperwork.

Qualifications

What you’ll need:

• A current/active license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Texas.
• An innovative spirit complemented by a demonstrated history of reliability.
• Flexibility to shift resources and priorities as necessary, based on the needs of the business.
• 3+ years as a pediatric Occupational Therapist
• Experience in a home-health setting.
• Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties (high-risk infant, etc.)

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

• Perform comprehensive Occupational Therapy evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy.
• Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physicians’ orders.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
• Act as a vital member of your patients’ medical neighborhoods, collaborating and coordinating care between various providers and disciplines.
  Complete a minimum number of patient visits on a weekly basis as required by the agency.
• Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and all other paperwork as needed.
• Meet with agency personnel as necessary to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.
• Perform all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all rules, regulations, codes of ethics, guidelines and federal, state and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric occupational therapy.
