Job summary

Westside Children's Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to work with pediatric clients, evaluating needs and implementing therapeutic interventions to support fine motor, cognition, language, self-care, and self-regulation skills.

The role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of SLPs, PTs, counselors, and ABA professionals, plus coaching families to sustain treatment practices at home. A mentorship-friendly environment and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• OT licensure or license eligible in the state of Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients for adaptations and use of special equipment when necessary.
• Identify and implement therapeutic interventions that help develop client’s fine motor skills, cognition, language skills, self-care skills, regulation, and more.
• Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment.
