IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR OUTPATIENT PEDIATRIC OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Geary Rehab Pediatrics Services is seeking an outgoing, experienced pediatric clinician who want to be a part of a fast-paced, community based outpatient clinic in Junction City, KS.

Geary Rehab is a therapist owned, small business that is devoted to providing rehabilitation and habilitation services in the Junction City area. Our core values include providing high quality care to the community that we serve. We pride ourselves on working with talented therapists who are passionate about their professions; and are motivated to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to our patient population. We are involved in all aspects of care in the community. We currently contract with our local hospital, a home health provider, and a local nursing facility to provide therapy services. We also have an outpatient physical therapy clinic and fitness center, in addition to our outpatient pediatric clinic. Our pediatric facility includes private treatment rooms, a sensory room, a kitchenette, and a large therapy gym to allow multiple options for treatment interventions.

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist who is flexible, creative, and an outstanding communicator. Our pediatric caseload consists of a wide spectrum of developmental diagnoses which requires flexibility and creativity, and provides variety to keep things interesting for the therapist. This position is part of a multi-disciplinary team to include pediatric Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy and Physical Therapy services, which allows for collaboration and carryover between disciplines to provide comprehensive care. The applicant will typically be responsible for supervising at least one Occupational Therapist Assistant, as well as maintaining their own schedule.

This is a full time position of 36 hours per week of pediatric services (8 hours per day M-Th, 4 hours Friday mornings). We are open to considering part time positions as well. Minimum degree requirement is a Bachelor of Science in OT and pediatric experience is preferred. We encourage our therapists to maintain 70-80% productivity, and reward hard working therapists who have a high level of productivity. Opportunities to practice in home health and acute care settings are also available with this position.
