Job summary

River Therapies seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to join our team in Pennsylvania. The role may be part-time or full-time, with opportunities in medically fragile daycare and early intervention settings.

You will provide pediatric OT services, complete daily documentation and progress reports, and collaborate with families and administration to support each patient's growth.

Qualifications

• PA license to practice OT in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

River Therapies is a private therapy company located in the Fox Chapel community of Pennsylvania. We specialize in outpatient, early intervention, and school-based therapy services.

We are seeking a part-time or full-time Occupational Therapist to join our team! We have multiple opportunities within various settings in which we provide services! We would love the opportunity to create the perfect job for you, tailored to your professional goals! Specifically at this time we are looking for an individual to work in a medically fragile daycare setting and/or early intervention. Position can be either part-time or full-time based on candidate's preference.

As a member of the therapy department, you will work with other therapeutic staff and report to our administration staff.

What You Will Do:

• Provide daily occupational therapy sessions to patients identified as requiring services
• Complete dailydocumentation
• Completeprogress reports andall required paperwork for each setting
• Participate in and contribute to family and administrative meetings
• Maintain required communication with families for the betterment of each patient
• Regular meetings with administration staff to discuss caseloads, answer questions, and promote overall employment success
• Maintain a weekly schedule for efficient scheduling and time management abilities
• Promote a safe and welcoming therapeutic environment for patients and families

What You Will Bring:

Our ideal candidate will have the following credentials/skills:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy and an associated license in the state of Pennsylvania
• Excellent communication skills
• Professional and positive work ethic
• Passion for the field of pediatric occupational therapy
• Experience in problem-based learning is encouraged
