Job summary

Intuit, Inc. invites an experienced Occupational Therapist or Assistant to join our team in Chino, CA.

You will work with licensed OTs and other assistants to deliver pediatric therapy, follow care plans, and help students use adaptive devices to improve daily living skills. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and monitoring treatment plans, coordinating with school teams, and communicating progress with families and teachers.

Qualifications

• Pediatric occupational therapy experience or willingness to work with children.
• Ability to implement and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with school teams and families to support student progress.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pediatric occupational therapy assessments to determine needs and goals for students with disabilities.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans focusing on functional skills, activity participation, and daily living activities.
• Provide direct therapy sessions and collaborate with school teams to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom activities.
• Document progress, update plans, and communicate with families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure cohesive care.
• Utilize therapeutic equipment and assistive devices, and support discharge planning and transition planning when appropriate.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist or Assistant to join our team! As an Occupational Therapist (OTR) or assistant, you will be working closely with Occupational Therapists as well as other Assistants to provide therapy and support for our patients.

You will be following plans of care previously laid out, assisting your patients with using adaptive devices, and maintaining all therapy spaces and equipment.

The ideal candidate has strong time management skills, excellent customer service skills, and knowledge of occupational therapy guidelines and recommendations.
