Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university
• An unencumbered professional nursing license
• A current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association
• Two years of professional experience in instruction as a registered nurse

Responsibilities

• Implements program philosophy, curriculum, outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching
• Plans clinical experiences and provides supervision and evaluation of nursing students
• Manages assignments, remediation, and timely feedback to students
• Keeps coordinator informed of issues and participates in program development and evaluation
