Job summary

St. Mary's University’s School of Science, Engineering, and Technology invites applications for a pediatric nursing faculty position to support the growth of the BSN program.

The successful candidate will teach in a two-semester year, contribute to curriculum development, supervise students, and engage in scholarship aligned with the Marianist mission. Texas Board of Nursing-approved program and RN licensure required.

Qualifications

• Tenure-Track: Doctoral degree in nursing or relevant field (PhD, DNP, or EdD required). Must have MSN if doctoral degree is not in nursing.
• Non-Tenure-Track: Minimum of a master's degree in Nursing.
• Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas.
• Current AHA BLS/CPR for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Teach in a two-semester academic year.
• Teach courses in areas of expertise and clinical applications.
• Design and update instructional activities for classroom and clinical settings.
• Collaborate with clinical entities for clinical experiences.
• Engage in curriculum development and program assessment.
• Mentor and advise nursing students.
• Engage in scholarship and service aligned with the University mission.
