Job summary

SeriousFun Children's Network in Mount Gilead, Ohio, seeks a Nursing Director to lead year‑round nursing and clinical operations, overseeing the WellNest medical facility and readiness for summer camps.

You'll recruit and supervise seasonal and volunteer medical teams, partner with the Medical Director, and ensure every camp session is safe, well‑prepared, and unforgettable for children and families served.

Qualifications

• BSN in Nursing with at least five years of experience.
• Pediatric nursing experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading people, teams, or clinical operations.
• Active Ohio RN License or Compact License.
• Valid driver's license.
• Valid BLS for healthcare professionals; PALS preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, organization, and operational management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and online communication tools.
• Ability to reside on-site during summer and weekend camp sessions is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead year-round nursing and clinical operations.
• Oversee the WellNest medical facility and clinical readiness.
• Supervise the Nursing Coordinator, seasonal nursing staff, and volunteer nurses.
• Recruit, train, and support seasonal and volunteer medical teams.
• Partner closely with the Medical Director and Camp Operations Team.
• Build trusted relationships with campers, families, volunteers, and healthcare partners.
• Help ensure every camp session is safe, prepared, and unforgettable for the children we serve.
