Job summary

Qualifications

• CPR and Basic Life Support knowledge required.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities needed.
• Basic computer navigation and record-keeping skills required.

Responsibilities

• Take and document vital signs.
• Perform phlebotomy as delegated by RN.
• Document patient care activities accurately.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Order and stock medical supplies as needed.
• Respond to patient call lights promptly.
• Assist with patient admission, transfer and discharge.
• Move patients between beds, wheelchairs, or stretchers when necessary.
• Deliver specimens to labs and prepare patients for procedures.
