Job summary

Corewell Health’s Pediatric Care Unit 5 on the Helens DeVos Children’s Hospital campus in Grand Rapids is seeking a bedside nurse to join a fast-paced team caring for a diverse mix of pediatric surgical and medical patients.

You will perform routine nursing tasks, monitor vital signs, assist with bathing, mobility, and patient comfort while following hospital policies and providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma or equivalent
• BLS CRT Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required Or
• BLS CRT Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a Nurse and following hospital policies and procedures, performs various nursing care tasks and treatments on assigned patients.
• Performs routine bedside nursing activities including bathing and personal grooming of patients, vital signs, wound care, ambulating, assisting patients with bedpans or urinary devices.
