Job summary

Vanderbilt Health in Nashville seeks an Assistant Nurse Manager for Pediatric Genetics, Plastics, and Physical Medicine Clinics. This leadership role supervises staff, drives clinical standards, and collaborates across teams to deliver high-quality pediatric care.

Under guidance of the nursing leadership, you will develop care plans, mentor nurses, and coordinate resources to support optimal throughput, safety, and patient outcomes in a dynamic academic health system.

Qualifications

• RN license in Tennessee or eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing leadership/management experience.

Responsibilities

• Under guidance of manager, implements area specific quality plans aligned with organizational goals.
• Develops, manages and evaluates area based on team performance.
• Manages projects and ongoing work with timelines and deliverables aligned to strategic plan.
• Acts as clinical leader and provides staff education and coaching on standards of care.
• Ensures clinical assignments match patient care needs and staff competencies.
