Job description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Pediatrics for an Operating Room (OR) setting within a pediatric acute care hospital.

The primary responsibilities include providing comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients during surgery, performing assessments, and implementing interventions to ensure patient safety. The nurse collaborates with physicians to execute care plans and maintains continuity between the operating room and patient care units.

Qualifications

• 2 years of OR experience in pediatrics
• Ohio RN license
• BSN degree or in progress
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Required certifications are

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• American Heart Association certification. PALS and CNOR credentials are preferred. Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery, or laser experience is a plus.
