Job summary

Newma Wellness in Colorado seeks an experienced Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to examine children and adolescents, address health issues, monitor growth, and guide families on wellness. You will order tests, interpret results, and provide diagnoses as part of a compassionate care team.

The ideal candidate prescribes medications, educates guardians on illness and side effects, and refers patients to specialists when needed, demonstrating outstanding bedside manner and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must hold current medical license in Colorado (or eligible for licensure)
• Minimum of 5 years pediatric experience
• Current DEA registration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with current pediatric testing and diagnostic standards
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

Responsibilities

• Examine young patients to determine care needs
• Order tests, read results, and provide diagnoses
• Prescribe medications and educate families on treatment plans and side effects
• Maintain accurate patient care records
• Collaborate with nurses, admin staff, and doctors to ensure comprehensive care
