Palm Careers is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join an outpatient primary care team in California. The role provides advanced nursing care and supports physicians in diagnosing, treating, and managing pediatric patients from infancy through adolescence.

The ideal candidate will be a compassionate, skilled provider with CA NP licensure and PNP board certification, plus 2–4 years of pediatric primary care experience.

Formación

• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (MSN or DNP required).
• Active NP licensure in the state of California.
• Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) board certification.
• 2-4 years of pediatric primary care or a related setting.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive care to infants, children, and adolescents, including diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management of medical conditions.
• Conduct well-child exams, immunizations, and school/extra-curricular physicals to support overall pediatric health.
• Obtain patient history, assess physical and mental development, and ensure early detection of potential health concerns.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, lab work, and imaging studies to guide treatment decisions.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
• Prescribe medications, manage chronic illnesses, and educate families on preventive care and wellness strategies.
• Maintain and update accurate electronic medical records (EMR) to ensure continuity of care.
• Act as a resource for patients and families, providing guidance on childhood development, nutrition, and health promotion.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, patient-centered care and improve health outcomes.

Educación

MSN or DNP

Active NP licensure in California

PNP board certification

2-4 years pediatric primary care experience
