The role combines direct patient care with clinical precepting and leadership within a faculty track, and requires CO licensure and FNP certification.

The position emphasizes on-site work, with opportunities to mentor students and participate in outreach to recruit patients in a diverse community.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
• Current Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
• Current RN and APN licensures in good standing; CO licensure by date of hire.
• Current Prescriptive Authority (RxN) licensure; CO RxN by hire date.
• Current DEA license and ability to practice in primary care.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary care provider for the clinic's patient population.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment.
• Conduct outpatient primary care procedures within scope of practice.
• Maintain documentation in the EHR accurately and timely.
• Act as a clinical preceptor for nursing students.
• Participate in clinic marketing, outreach, and patient recruitment.
