Job summary

Moon Valley Pediatrics in Avondale, AZ, seeks a compassionate Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-PC) or FNP-C to join our established pediatric primary care practice. You will manage a growing patient panel, perform well-child visits and immunizations, and participate in quality improvement within a brand-new, larger office.

The role offers Monday–Friday schedules, strong autonomy in a collaborative setting, and clear pathways for advancement as the practice grows.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited PNP or FNP program.
• Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care (CPNP-PC) preferred
• Active Arizona NP license (or eligibility); new graduates welcomed
• Current BLS; PALS preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and family-centered care
• Proficiency with accurate, timely clinical documentation for continuity of care

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric primary care to infants, children, and adolescents
• Conduct well-child visits, sick visits, developmental screenings, and immunizations
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans
• Educate and counsel patients and families on health, wellness, and preventive care
• Participate in quality improvement projects and collaborate with clinic leadership
• Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)

Moon Valley Pediatrics is seeking a compassionate, dedicated Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-PC) or Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with pediatric experience (FNP-C) to join our well-established pediatric primary care practice in West Phoenix/Avondale, AZ. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a thriving patient panel at a practice that is actively growing.

About the Opportunity

Our Avondale practice has served the community for 5+ years and was recently acquired by a North Phoenix-based pediatrician expanding pediatric care in the area. We're moving into a brand-new, larger office just across the road and expanding our clinic days. We anticipate continued growth in this area and expect to add another provider within 6 months, meaning strong long-term stability and room for advancement for the right candidate.

What You’ll Do

• Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric primary care to infants, children, and adolescents

• BLS/PALS: Current BLS certification required; PALS preferred
• Clinical skills: Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to warm, family-centered care
