Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for per diem shifts in our Elwood, Hewlett, and Lake Success centers. The role focuses on urgent pediatric care with autonomy and collaboration within a Northwell Health network.

Required is a NP license with 2+ years in urgent care or emergency medicine, treating all ages, including minor procedures and basic imaging interpretation (EKGs, X-rays). Per diem schedule offers flexibility and professional support.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Nurse Practitioner license and have 2+ years of full-time experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine treating patients across all ages (6 months and older).
• Comfortable with minor procedures (suturing, splints) and basic imaging readings (EKG, X-ray).

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric urgent care and perform minor procedures as needed.
• Interpret EKGs and X-ray results to support clinical decisions.
