Job summary

Nemours Children’s Hospital in Orlando, Florida is seeking a Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider to join our PICU team. You will obtain patient and family histories, perform physical and developmental assessments, diagnose, develop management plans, perform invasive procedures, obtain consultations, teach and counsel families, and document appropriately.

You will work with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team dedicated to excellent patient outcomes, teaching, and ongoing professional growth

Qualifications

• Current Active/clear Florida APRN or PA license in good standing.
• Current AHA BLS & PALS certification upon hire.
• New-to-practice APPs may apply and will be supported through onboarding and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient and family histories.
• Perform physical and developmental assessments.
• Make diagnoses and participate in developing management plans.
• Perform invasive procedures as appropriate.
• Obtain specialist consultations as needed.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.
• Teach residents and students, and contribute to documentation.

Nemours Children's Hospital in Orlando, Florida is seeking a Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider to join ourPediatricCritical Care(PICU)Team! In this role you will obtain patient and family histories, perform physical and developmental assessment, make diagnoses, participate in developing a management plan, perform invasive procedures, obtain specialist consultations, teach and counsel patients and families, participate in teaching residents and students, and perform appropriate documentation. You will be a part of a collegial and vibrant PICU multidisciplinary team that takes pride in excellent patient outcomes, teaching, and teamwork.

Qualifications
