Pediatrix Medical Group in Montgomery, AL, is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our pediatric hospitalist team.

The role features 12-hour shifts 6:00 PM–6:00 AM with in-house coverage and call from home, including newborn assessments, ER admissions, and newborn rounding, with neonatology support as needed.

Qualifications

• APRN certification required for practice.
• Master's degree required for APRN eligibility.
• Specialty certifications at minimum: NNP/PNP/PNP-AC.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments for newborns and admitted infants.
• Manage ER admissions and initial stabilization of neonates.
• Round on newborns and coordinate with neonatology when needed.

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Opportunity with Established Pediatric Hospitalist Group!

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to complete our pediatric hospitalist team in Montgomery, AL. Our team includes pediatric hospitalists and affiliated professionals, such as neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, developmental pediatricians, cardiologists, and MFMs. Together, we provide comprehensive newborn services.

Details

• Flexible work schedule with 12-hour shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, consisting of a combination of in-house coverage and call from home.
• Responsibilities include patient assessments, ER admissions, and rounding on newborns.
• Neonatologist support and backup are available as needed and for all high-risk situations.
• Position accepts following certifications: NNP, PNP, PNP-AC. Unable to consider FNPs for this position.
