The Nurse Extern II (NE II) role at Children's Hospital of Michigan supports the patient care team with direct and indirect care tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse. • Applicants may apply starting 6 months before graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Must pass all senior courses to remain in the program.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs, vitals, ambulation and other duties within the scope of patient care tech.
• Work under the supervision of an RN who delegates tasks based on patient needs.
• Report deviations from expected patient parameters to the RN.
