Job summary
Billings Clinic is seeking a Nursing Professional Development (NPD) practitioner to lead nursing education and staff development. The role focuses on designing education programs, onboarding, and competency growth for a large, regionally recognized health system in Billings, MT.
You will work with an interprofessional team to advance evidence-based practice and improve patient care outcomes across settings while supporting professional development and role transition for nurses.
Qualifications
- Requires BSN degree and active RN license in Montana and/or Wyoming.
- Minimum of 5 years RN experience; teaching experience preferred.
- Nursing Professional Development (NPD) practitioner role focus on education and growth of learners.
- Ability to design education programs and onboard new staff.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate learning using adult education principles to close knowledge gaps.
- Lead nursing education initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
- Mentor and develop nursing staff and leaders across practice settings.
- Collaborate with interprofessional teams to improve patient care outcomes.
- Support onboarding/orientation and competency development for staff.
- Promote evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.
