UW Health in Madison, WI is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department (ED/ER). This role supports Level I Trauma Care across adult and pediatric populations in a busy university hospital setting.

The department features multiple trauma and resuscitation spaces and a new intake area to accelerate patient care. A BSN is preferred; minimum 6 months of RN experience required, with ACLS/PALS and WI license or compact state required on hire, plus tuition reimbursement eligibility and

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• 6 months RN experience required.
• 1 year ICU/CCU/ED experience with adult and/or pediatric populations preferred.
• Licensed as RN in WI or in a compact state.
• CPR certification required.
• ACLS within 6 months required.
• PALS within 6 months required.
• TNCC and ENPC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be part of UW Health's Emergency Department team delivering care to adult and pediatric patients.
• Provide care in a high-acuity ED/ER environment including trauma and burn care resources.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely and safe patient care, including triage, stabilization, and disposition.
