Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a medical or academic setting.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams of APNs/PAss in a surgical program.

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for Advanced Practice Providers and/or specialty nurses in solid organ transplant.
• Oversees workforce management, performance indicators, and resource planning.
• Mentors staff to promote clinical excellence and professional growth.
• Leads quality improvement, regulatory compliance, patient safety, and fiscal stewardship.
• Acts as a liaison between families and the health care team.
• Collaborates with physicians and other care team members to deliver high-quality care.
• Supports telehealth readiness and programmatic growth as needed.
• Drives departmental initiatives to ensure regulatory readiness and continuous improvement.
• Communicates effectively with staff, leadership, and stakeholders.
