Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Waco, TX seeks a Nurse Practitioner for Primary Care in an outpatient pediatric setting. You will provide comprehensive care, perform routine visits, and manage acute and preventive services within a supported clinic team.

Open to new grads with structured onboarding and mentorship; a 12-month fellowship and transition support are offered to ease the start. Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends in clinic.

Qualifications

• Education - Grad of an Accredited Program.
• Experience - Less than 1 Year of Experience.
• Certification/Registration - Nurse Practitioner (NP).
• Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the physical and mental condition of patients via exams and histories.
• Orders, collects, interprets labs and tests to assess health needs.
• Prescribes, recommends, or uses medications and performs procedures per protocol.
• Counsels patients and families on care, meds, nutrition, and health promotion.
• Maintains records detailing treatment plans and outcomes; coordinates referrals.
• Collaborates with physicians and team members to ensure quality care.
