Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for Primary Care in an outpatient clinic. This 0.9 FTE role involves 12-hour shifts across three days with an alternating schedule and strong collaboration with physicians and APPs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited NP program with current Texas NP license.
• Ability to work in a team-based care model with physicians and APPs.
• Provide direct patient care in a primary care setting with prescriptive authority.
• Open to new graduates and mentorship programs are available.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical and mental health through exams and histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to guide care.
• Prescribe medications and perform procedures per scope.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with the team.
• Counsel on medications, nutrition, and health maintenance.
• Maintain accurate medical records and refer when needed.
