Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta seeks a Nightshift Nurse to perform nursing processes and provide direct patient care on the Hughes Spalding unit. The role requires RN licensure in Georgia and is a night shift with 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM start times, across a variable schedule.

Qualifications

• 12 months RN experience required.
• Graduation from accredited school of nursing.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Georgia or multi-state license.
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment.
• PALS or PEARS certification within 1 year if required by department.

Responsibilities

• Practice nursing process across continuum to deliver age-appropriate patient care.
• Integrate values and language preferences into care delivery.
• Use documentation tools to record and retrieve health data.
• Provide patient and family education appropriate for learning needs.
• Oversee care by unlicensed staff and coordinate with the care team.
• Participate in lifelong learning to maintain knowledge and competence.
