Job summary

University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus seeks a full-time Pediatric Neurosurgeon to join the Department of Neurosurgery. The Open Rank position is available at Assistant, Associate, or Professor level, with a focus on growing the pediatric neurosurgical program across the Colorado Springs campus and affiliated facilities.

The role involves direct clinical care of children, clinics at Briargate, and inpatient consultations at multiple campuses.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent and board eligibility/certification in neurological/pediatric neurosurgery.
• Fellowship in Pediatric Neurosurgery favored.
• Colorado medical license or eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time clinical care to pediatric patients (0.9–1.0 cFTE).
• Conduct clinics at Briargate, Colorado Springs, to meet demand.
• Perform inpatient consultations and surgeries at Children’s Hospital Colorado Springs and Anschutz campuses.
• Provide weekday call on a 1:4 cadence and weekend call on 1:5 cadence, with potential extra compensation.
