Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi, TX, is recruiting an Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) for Pediatric Neurosurgery. The APP will function as an independent provider delivering comprehensive care to ill and well children, with outpatient clinic coverage and inpatient rounding.

Travel to satellite clinics may be required. Qualified candidates will have completed an approved PA/NP program, be certified and licensed in Texas (or able to obtain), with a minimum of 3 years operating

Qualifications

• Completed an approved PA or NP program.
• Certified and licensed to practice in Texas (or able to obtain).
• Minimum 3 years of operating experience in any surgical specialty.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinic coverage.
• Inpatient rounding.
• Daytime call coverage for inpatient questions and new ER/inpatient consults.
• Possible OR time depending on training and schedule.
