Qualifications
Prior neurosurgery, trauma, or acute care experience strongly preferred.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the on-call neurosurgeon to evaluate, manage, and disposition neurosurgical consults.
Round on all neurosurgical service patients and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.
Conduct outpatient clinic follow-ups to ensure continuity of neurosurgical care.
Assist in neurosurgical procedures as needed.
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
