Job summary

Phoenix Children's Division of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine invites a Pediatric Neuropathologist to join a rapidly expanding division of 18 faculty members. The role focuses on pediatric CNS tumors, neuromuscular pathology, and epilepsy resections within a collaborative academic and clinical environment.

The position offers opportunities for teaching, translational research, and leadership, with close ties to Barrow Neurological Institute and other regional programs.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and board certified/eligible in Anatomic Pathology and Neuropathology.
• Completion of fellowship training in Neuropathology required.
• Pediatric pathology fellowship desirable but not required.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Arizona.
• Strong diagnostic skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Interpret pediatric CNS tumors, neuromuscular pathology, epilepsy-related resections and other complex neuropathologic disorders.
• Provide clinical attending coverage in pediatric neuropathology.
• Collaborate with Barrow Neurological Institute and other pediatric programs for multidisciplinary care and translational research.
• Engage in teaching and scholarly activities within the division and institution.
