Job summary

Phoenix Children's seeks a Pediatric Neuropathologist to join the Division of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. The successful candidate will provide pediatric neuropathology expertise within a growing department handling over 200 neurological cases and ~500 specimens annually.

Qualifications

MD/DO degree required or equivalent.
Board certification or eligibility in Anatomic Pathology and Neuropathology is expected.
Fellowship training in Neuropathology is required; pediatric neuropathology interest preferred.

Responsibilities

Interpret pediatric central nervous system tumors, neuromuscular pathology, epilepsy-related resections, and other complex neuropathologic disorders.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across neurology, neurosurgery, neuroradiology, oncology and translational research.
Contribute to teaching, research, biobanking and program development within the division.
Engage in leadership activities and collaborate with Barrow Neurological Institute and other regional programs.
