Job summary

Phoenix Children's is seeking Pediatric Infectious Diseases physicians to join its growing division in Phoenix, AZ. The successful candidate will provide clinical care to pediatric patients, with inpatient consults and outpatient ID clinic responsibilities, and participate in teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.

Board-certified or board-eligible in pediatric infectious diseases is required, with commitment to patient care, trainee education, and potential clinical faculty

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in pediatric id.
• Commitment to patient care and trainee education.
• Clinical faculty appointment at a medical school and opportunities with partner institutions.
• Experience with antimicrobial stewardship, infection prevention, or transplant programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient pediatric ID care.
• Perform subspecialty consultations and follow-up.
• Teach medical students, residents and fellows.
• Participate in antimicrobial stewardship and infection prevention programs.
• Engage in clinical research opportunities.
