Job summary

Texas Children's Hospital in Austin, TX seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver developmentally appropriate health maintenance for well children and episodic care for ill children within a pediatric neurology team.

The role includes outpatient neurology, headaches, epilepsy management, and some inpatient coverage for EMU and Neurology; requires Master’s degree and state licensure, with NCCPA certification for PAs or NP licensure. Pediatric neurology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in PA studies required.
• PA certification from NCCPA required.
• Unrestricted PA license in Texas required.
• Ped neurology experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient general neurology care.
• Headache, epilepsy, and KGD management.
• Some inpatient coverage for EMU and Neurology patients.

Education

Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies

Board Certification — NCCPA

Unrestricted PA license — Texas Medical Board

Pediatric Neurology experience preferred
