Job summary

SUNY Stony Brook's Department of Neurology seeks full-time pediatric neurologists for clinical and tenure-track or non-tenure-track appointments. Responsibilities include patient care, teaching, and opportunities to pursue clinical research in autism, epilepsy, infectious disease, stroke and MS.

Ideal candidates hold an MD, NYS license eligibility, and board certification/ eligibility in Pediatric Neurology with SCCN; fellowship in Child Neurology is preferred.

Qualifications

• MD degree and eligibility for NYS medical license for practice.
• Completion of an accredited Pediatric Neurology residency.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Neurology with special competency (SCCN).

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care to pediatric patients in neurology.
• Engage in teaching and supervision of residents and fellows.
• Opportunities to participate in clinical research in autism, epilepsy, stroke, MS and related areas.
