Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a Board Certified physician for Level IV NICU coverage in Denver, Colorado. The role involves 24-hour shifts with in-house rounding, on-call duties, and weekend responsibilities. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of one year of experience and need to be compliant with Colorado licensing.

The compensation is $1,500 per day for these shifts, with additional benefits such as malpractice insurance. Please note that per-diem team members are not eligible for PTO or holiday benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be Board Certified.
• Possess an active Colorado license or be IMLC eligible.
• At least one year of experience required.
• Availability for ongoing 7-day weekly blocks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-house rounding during AM and afternoon shifts.
• Manage on-call support for admissions or discharges.
• Participate in weekend 24-hour shifts as needed.

Shift Pattern

• Monday – Friday 24‑hour shift: AM and afternoon rounding in‑house, with on‑call and call‑back in‑house coverage as needed.
• Weekend: 24‑hour shifts; on‑call support and occasional call‑back for in‑house coverage due to admission or discharge that cannot wait till Monday.
• Level IV NICU, 84 beds
