Job summary

INAAP in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Pediatric Neurologist to join an established team for 100% pediatric neurology coverage with both outpatient clinic care and inpatient rounding. The role includes a 1:4 call rotation, with a lighter clinic load on call days.

The team currently has 3 full-time and 1 part-time pediatric neurologists, supported by APPs and nursing staff, with access to EEG capabilities, Level 3 EMU, and specialty clinics including Botox, spasticity, neurodevelopmental and new

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Neurology.
• Open to new graduates and experienced physicians.
• Comfortable managing core pediatric neurology conditions including seizures, headaches, developmental delays, and genetic conditions.
• Ability to interpret EEGs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Practice 100% pediatric neurology with no adult coverage.
• Inpatient rounding with typical clinic volume of 10–15 patients per day and inpatient census of 5–6.
• Call structure with a 1:4 rotation and lighter clinic volume on call days.
• Provide outpatient clinic care and inpatient rounding as part of a collaborative team.
