Job summary

MePA in Louisiana is seeking a Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrician for an outpatient role with strong community need and a growing program. You will lead clinical care within a multidisciplinary team and help shape services.

The schedule is Monday-Thursday 8:00a-4:30p and Friday 8:00a-12:00p, totaling about 36 patient-facing hours plus admin time, with no on-call. Compensation includes incentives, relocation assistance, CME time off, and a PSLF-eligible non-profit employer.

Qualifications

• MD/DO required.
• Board certification in Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics preferred or eligible.
• Visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient clinical care focusing on ASD, developmental delay, ADHD, learning disorders, and related neurodevelopmental concerns.
• Collaborate with speech pathology, OT, psychology, and clinical social work to support families.
• Serve as a clinical leader in a growing pediatric developmental medicine program.

Practice Overview

• You’ll join a Pediatric Developmental Medicine team and serve as a key clinical leader as the program expands
• 100% outpatient practice supported by speech pathology, OT, psychology, clinical social work, and dedicated clinic staff
• Clinical focus includes ASD, developmental delay, complex ADHD, learning disorders, neurocognitive concerns, and medically complex children
• Strong built-in referral base with current new-patient autism evaluation lead times of several months

Schedule

• Monday-Thursday 8:00a-4:30p; Friday 8:00a-12:00p
• Approximately 36 patient-facing hours plus 4 hours of admin time weekly
• Typical volume around 20 patients per day, with room to tailor templates as you ramp up
• No call responsibilities
