Job summary

Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Svc in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a tight-knit team delivering compassionate psychiatric care during the evening shift. The RN will assess needs, plan care with an interdisciplinary team, and oversee nursing activities in this on-site role.

Responsibilities include coordinating care with physicians and staff, educating patients and families, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice in Michigan.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Satisfactory previous clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and develop a care plan with an interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinate nursing care with physicians and staff.
• Educate patients' families and provide discharge planning.
• Document and report information per policies and procedures.
• Monitor patient safety and report risks to physicians.
• Provide care in multiple clinical settings and lead clinical teams.
• Model the organization’s mission and values in daily practice.
• Maintain and demonstrate required training and competency.
