Expect a busy caseload with a mix of outpatient and inpatient duties, including on-site coverage and on-call shifts. Experience in hemodialysis, renal transplant management, and related procedures is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric ambulatory care in clinic and inpatient settings.
• Manage hemodialysis, hemofiltration, and renal transplant care.
• Perform vascular access procedures and peritoneal catheter management.
• Cover assigned clinic days and 24-hour on-call responsibilities.

• Clinic: Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri 8 am - 5 pm; Thu admin or hospital coverage
• 24-hour unrestricted on-call required
• Clinic: 8 scheduled patients per day
• Inpatient: 2 patients per day
• Caseload: 80% pediatric clinic, 20% pediatric hospital
• Hemodialysis, hemofiltration, and renal transplant management required
• Vascular access procedures and peritoneal catheter management required
• Ongoing coverage -- one week per month
• Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
• Assignment details and time entry in online portal
