Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a locum tenens pediatric specialist in Tucson, AZ to support outpatient clinic and inpatient coverage with a 24-hour on-call commitment. Clinic hours are Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri 8 am–5 pm; Thu is admin or hospital coverage.

Caseload is 80% pediatric clinic and 20% pediatric hospital, including hemodialysis, hemofiltration, and renal transplant management. Travel and housing are prepaid; malpractice insurance is provided; you’ll have 24-hour access to a Weatherby

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric care across outpatient clinic and inpatient settings.
• Manage hemodialysis, hemofiltration, and renal transplant patients.
• Cover clinic hours and 24-hour on-call as required.

• Clinic: 8 scheduled patients per day
• Inpatient: 2 patients per day

• Vascular access procedures and peritoneal catheter management required
• Ongoing coverage -- one week per month
• Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
