Position Overview

Ohio-based Akron Children's Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Nephrologist to join its expanding care team. As the largest pediatric healthcare system in Northeast Ohio, recently recognized by Modern Healthcare as the fastest-growing children's hospital in the nation, we offer a dynamic environment for professional growth.

Responsibilities
  • Join an established team of three pediatric nephrologists.
  • Diagnose and treat children and teens with kidney and related diseases, including high blood pressure, urinary tract infections, nephrotic syndrome, glomerulonephritis, kidney stones, pheresis services, and kidney failure.
  • Provide pre- and post-transplant care.
  • Utilize our kidney dialysis and renal care center for pediatric patients with kidney failure.
Qualifications
  • Board eligibility/certification in Pediatric Nephrology.
  • Ability to obtain an active medical license in Ohio.
