Job summary

Cook Children's Medical Center in Prosper, TX, seeks an RN, Transport to join the ground transport team. You will provide nursing care to neonatal and pediatric patients during ground, rotor wing, and fixed wing transports, collaborating with RTs and Paramedics to ensure safe, timely care.

Based at Meacham Airport initially, with eventual relocation to Prosper. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and Texas RN license, plus 3 years of neonatal/pediatric ICU/ED or transport

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of 3 years recent Neonatal and/or Pediatric ICU and/or Pediatric Emergency Department experience or current Neonatal/Pediatric Transport experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to neonatal and pediatric patients during ground, rotor wing, and fixed wing transports; collaborate with RTs and Paramedics to ensure safe, timely care.
• Coordinate with Transport Team to ensure smooth handoffs and patient safety during all modes of transport.
• Meet licensure and certification requirements and support the mission and values of Cook Children's Health Care System.
