Job summary

Baptist Health in central Alabama seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist, Pediatric/Neonatal, for full-time night shift. You will treat pediatric and neonatal patients, manage ventilators, and participate in high-risk deliveries and regional transport as needed.

Requires degree in Respiratory Care with NBRC RRT and ASBRT LRT credentials, BLS, and 1+ year of experience. Strong teamwork and patient-centered care are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Respiratory Care required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Active NBRC RRT and ASBRT LRT required; BLS required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc., may be required depending upon area.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist or pulmonary function testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform treatment, management, diagnostic evaluation, and care of pulmonary patients.
• Handle pediatric and neonatal therapeutic equipment and processes including intubation and ventilator management.
• Ventilation modes including high-frequency oscillatory (HFO), Nitric Oxide and surfactant administration.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries, C-sections, and regional ground transport; may have additional duties.
