Job summary

OU Health's Children's Hospital in Oklahoma City is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 3 X 12 shift. The role supports routine MRI exams under supervision, with opportunities for rank leveling I–III based on experience and credentials.

Responsibilities include patient prep, contrast administration per protocol, image transfer to EMR/PACS, and ongoing quality control. Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited imaging program and BLS; ARRT(RT) or ARMRIT certification within 12

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited imaging, radiology or nuclear medicine program as defined by ARRT or ARMRIT.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• AR RT(RT) or ARMRIT certification within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for MRI procedures and correlate clinical history with physician orders.
• Safely administer contrast per protocol.
• Acquire and transfer images to EMR/PACS and complete basic documentation.
• Perform operator-level quality control checks and basic equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and care team to meet clinical outcomes.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development.
