Job summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures per department policies, ensuring high-quality patient care. The role involves working with the pediatric population at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital and adhering to safety standards.

The position includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus for full-time staff, industry-competitive rates, and a schedule of Monday through Thursday from 3 PM to 1:30 AM.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved discipline specific program.
• Knowledge of radiology safety standards and patient screening.

Responsibilities

• Reviews radiology exam requests and patient identification to ensure safe, appropriate and cost effective imaging.
• Applies broad range of skills to ensure exam is completed timely and meets quality and compliance standards.
• Provides appropriate MRI screening process to patients, staff and self according to prescribed safety standards.
