Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Diagnostic MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures and generate high-quality images for diagnosis, while adhering to all standards and licensing requirements.

You will train Radiography students as needed, deliver MRI safety lectures, and contribute to protocol development and quality improvement initiatives. Regular calibration and maintenance of equipment ensure safe operations.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a JRCERT approved MRI program (Preferred).
• Current ARRT or ARMRIT registration in MRI (Required).
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider (Required).
• Current Arizona MRTBE CRT certification (Preferred).
• 1 year pediatric imaging experience (Preferred).
• CT experience (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic MRI procedures and imaging tests as prescribed.
• Maintains professional and technical competency through continual learning.
• Provides MRI safety information and lectures to patients and families.
• Assists in training Radiography students and in safety lectures for staff.
• Performs finalizing functions including limited coding in RIS and archiving records.
• Performs regular equipment calibration and maintenance and reports issues as appropriate.

JRCERT MRI program completion

Current ARRT MRI registration (Required)

Arizona MRTBE CRT certification
